Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJP Rohilkhand University, which is also abbreviated as MJPRU is a government university in Uttar Pradesh,India. It is an NAAC A++ accredited, and ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 140001:2015 certified University.[1] Its headquarters is lies on Pilibhit Byepass Road, Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. its campus is spread across 206 acres. The university covers 587 colleges of 9 different districts, which are Bareilly, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Moradabad, Rampur, Bijnor, Amroha & Pilibhit.

History

It was established in 1975 as Rohilkhand University and later it was renamed on the name of social reformer Mahatma Jyotiba Phule in August 1997.
