Lyubomyr Reverchuk, also known as Lou Reverchuk, is an IT entrepreneur, software engineer and talent hunter. He is best known as the founder and CEO of EchoGlobal, an IT staffing and team augmentation provider based in Lviv, Ukraine.

His primary role at Echo involves overseeing the company's operations, strategic direction, and overall growth. [1]

Education

He completed his Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Studies at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, where he studied from September 2001 until May 2006. This prestigious institution is one of Ukraine's leading universities.

Then, Lyubomyr joined Lviv IT School in 2017. During his time there, he specialized in Business Development in IT, gaining comprehensive knowledge of how to navigate and succeed in the technological business landscape.

His passion for entrepreneurship led him to Harvard Business School Online in June 2020. Lyubomyr took the Entrepreneurship Essentials course, an intensive program designed to provide a proven framework for building and financing new ventures.

Career

Lyubomyr Reverchuk has held multiple roles in his extensive career, spanning across various areas of expertise such as software development, digital marketing, IT, and entrepreneurship.

In September 2006, he took up his first full-time role as an IT Specialist at JSC KREDOBANK, holding the position full-time for nine months in Kyiv.

Beginning in May 2007, he embarked on a 6-year journey as a freelance web developer and digital marketer on Upwork.

In 2013, Lyubomyr founded EchoUA (rebranded to EchoGlobal in 2022), where he has been serving as the CEO for more than ten years. EchoGlobal is known for its commitment to delivering exceptional engineering talent from Eastern Europe to the established businesses in the US and UK. Lou's passion for talent hunting, coupled with his software engineering background, has allowed him to build a thriving organisation.[2]

From August 2020 to February 2022, Lyubomyr was an active member and consultant at the Young Business Club. His contribution to the club centered around networking, entrepreneurship, and business development.

In June 2023, he became a member of GrowthMentor community, a role he still holds today.[3]

Other Activities

In 2003, as a student, he ventured into the Work & Travel USA program, a transformative experience that significantly broadened his perspective and deepened his understanding of American culture.

Moving forward to 2018, he discovered his passion for squash, developing a profound love for the sport. Lou, an enthusiastic amateur, triumphantly won the second place medal in local competitions (Lviv Squash League), thereby cementing his status as a serious fan and participant.

In 2021, Lyubomyr applied for e-residency in Estonia and successfully obtained a digital identity, officially issued by the Estonian government.[4]

Personal Life

He is married to Natalia Nykyforuk and they have 2 children: Viktoria (2019) and Emilia (2021). The family resides in Lviv, Ukraine.
