Early Life and Musical Influences

Shearer's musical journey began in his late teens, contributing his talents to numerous local bands. In his mid twenties, after becoming increasingly frustrated with the revolving door of new members coming in and out of bands he was playing in, as well as what he perceived as a lack of commitment from other members, Shearer embarked on a solo career, showcasing his versatility and distinctive style.[3]

In 2011, Shearer entered the studio to record for the first time as a solo artist. He recalls the four weeks spent completing his debut album as a very memorable time during which he grew immensely as a songwriter and musician. In 2013, Luke released his first solo material, single Peace on Earth, which received heavy rotation on Radio stations around the world. His solo debut album 'Close your eyes, open your mind' further enhanced Luke's reputation and led to international touring & festival opportunities. As an artist constantly evolving, he initiated various solo projects in 2019, providing a canvas for his love of diverse musical genres. This move allowed him to breathe life into different musical elements and unleash their unique potentials.[1]
