Koda Sioux
Koda Sioux (born October 25th 1991) is a multi-talented singer and actor from Kansas City, Missouri. He stars as "Niko" in the upcoming thriller movie "Medicine". It’s release date is scheduled for 2024.
Early Life
Born Robert Adams (October 25th, 1991), he is the oldest child out of 4 boys. He was born and raised into an England military family during the 90’s. Koda Sioux grew up learning and studying the traditional ways of the Native Americans, whom he has a connection to. A fact about Koda is that he also goes by the traditional name that he earned which is Hunkpapa Lakota Sioux from the Standing Rock Reservation. At around the age of 8 years old, he was sure of himself that he wanted to begin singing. He would practice as often as he could, listening to different genres of music and gaining an ear for music. He loves music from a young age and it grew with him and his singing became even better, giving him the ability to sing in exceptional notes with an impressive vocal range.
Career
Koda Sioux is largely influenced by the music he grew up on including a hometown native who goes by the name of Tech N9ne. Koda Sioux has done underground interviews about the times he had met Tech N9ne in Kansas City, Missouri. Koda Sioux has a deep passion for rap music but also the likes of church music and singing. His vocal range is unique and impressive Amongst his peers, his singing has been compared to some of the greatest singers in the music industry.
Filmography
In 2021, Koda Sioux was given a role by 28 Entertainment to star as the character “Niko” in their thriller mystery called, “Medicine”. Niko is one of the best friend’s of the main character “Leon”, who he’s known since high school. 28 Entertainment is currently shooting for the movie and there is rumors that there may be a television series that will be developed from the movie. There are also rumors that major media platforms, ranging from Hulu to Paramount+, are interested in bringing the series and the movie to their streaming services
The “Medicine” movie plot is centered around a missing case that involves “Leon’s” son and after months of searching, Leon’s alcoholism develops into psychosis. After months, his mind recreates an illusion of his lost son and Niko does everything he can to help with Leon’s trauma, even when Leon’s son makes his way back - leaving Leon eternally confused on which one is his real son. The movie is set to release in the fall of 2024.
