Gilivazio Akambamu (born 29 May, 1998), better known by his stage name Khan Givas, is a Ugandan artist, producer, songwriter, and entrepreneur.

Early life

Khan was born as Gilivazio Akambamu on 29 May 1998 in Mbarara, Uganda, the son of Pius Kamugisha and Rebecca Kenganzi. He has one brother and five sisters.

Education background:

Khan Givas attended Akashanda Primary School for his primary level, and for his secondary education, he went to Gulu Army Secondary School. After completing his secondary level, he joined Whitaker Peace and Development Initiative pursuing a course in Information and Communication Technology basics in Gulu, Uganda.[1]

Music career

Khan showed musical interest since childhood engaging in several community entertainment auditions, local drama, school competitions and other related activities. This actually changed from just being passionate to music and became part of his life . In 2016, Khan Givas founded and launched his own record label called “Hustlers Base Collaborations”, in the same year, he recorded his first track titled "Am Loving" but it didn't get enough attention. In early 2020, he relaunched his career releasing singles such as “Kiga Nation”, “Ndeeba”, “Gambaye Featuring Nohart”, “On Fleek”, “Jitambue”[2][3][4] under his own record label “Hustlers Base Collaborations” on major music streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, YouTube, among others. It was on these streaming platforms that he gained notable recognition.
