Juan Pablo Marshall Quizon
Juan Pablo Marshall Quizon was a Maryland area man who committed suicide, on the morning of Wednesday November 16, 2022.[1] [2] He died in a fire in an apartment he rented in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The fire triggered a collapse of the low-rise apartment building, injuring 14 of his neighbors.
Authorities reported Quizon died of smoke inhalation.[2] He left a suicide note.[1] Authorities do not believe he intended for other people to be hurt.
Quizon, who worked in the scrap metal industry, had been making suicidal statements, for months prior to his death.[2] Friends and relatives did not know he had rented the Gaithersburd apartment where he died. Quizon's relatives had reported him as a missing person, telling Police they had not seen him since Nobember 9, 2022.[3]
