Military and Early Career

During World War II, Keefe served honorably with the United States Navy, contributing to the war effort. His passion for serving the community manifested in his thirty-year career with the Waltham Police Department. Starting as a reserve officer in October 1951, he swiftly climbed the ranks, becoming a patrolman within a year and achieving the positions of sergeant, lieutenant in 1967, and captain in December 1979. Notably, he served as the head of the detective division until his retirement in September 1981.

Post-Retirement Commitment

Even after retirement, Keefe's dedication to security persisted, as he spent two more decades managing security as Chief Security Officer at Northgate Gardens Condominiums in Waltham, MA. He retired in 2003 after over fifty years in law enforcement and security.
