Joel Goldstein

Joel Goldstein (born 1983) is an American entrepreneur, internet marketing consultant, author, and speaker. He is the President of Mr. Checkout Distributors, author of Start from Success, and the host of RetailSummit.live. Focusing on the retail sector, Goldstein specializes in developing a path to market advising where a product will be best received.

Early life and education

Goldstein was born in Newton, Massachusetts, and grew up in Florida completing his undergraduate college studies. He attended Harvard and completed a certificate in management at the Wharton School of Business in Florida. Before graduating high school, Goldstein was able to develop and successfully exit his first startup.

Career

Goldstein works as a President at Mr. Checkout Distributors, his family business that provides distribution services for retail products. Since purchasing his family business, he has effectively placed products on retail shelves nationwide in independent stores and with major retailers.

Goldstein has been partnering with businesses as a consultant. He helps them reach their potential through leadership workshops and seminars. His challenge-centered philosophy accelerates innovation within any organization that requires rapid and predictable change from developing new products/services to creating new business models. Goldstein also consults for a national think tank on retail business and sits on the board of 13 retail associations. He is a board member and advisor to the University of Central Florida, and also sits on the board of the New Leaders Council and Jewish Chamber of Commerce.

With a passion for education, Goldstein is a sought-after speaker and guest lecturer at several national universities. He has spoken around the world for associations, corporations, and prestigious universities on Millennial leadership. In 2014, he participated in the Congressional economic development committee held in Winter Park, FL.

Goldstein is based in Central Florida with his wife and two children.
