Jack Collins is a transit specialist who has appointed to positions of authority at transit authorities in San Jose, California and Ontario, Canada.[1]

In 2004 Collins was the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority's chief construction officer, and oversaw the construction of an extension of Bay Area Rapid Transit route 16.4 kilometres to Milipas, California and Santa Clara, California.[2]

Collins was hired by MetroLinx, an organization established by the Government of Ontario to manage commuter rail in Ontario, where he was the executive vice president for rapid transit implementation, and his responsibilities included overseeing the construction of light rail routes in Toronto, Mississauga, Kitchener, Hamilton and Ottawa.[1]
