Hickam Zahab
Nationality Australia
Known for Selling his house, to move to Daesh, and supplying the proceeds to fund Daesh

Hickam Zahab is an Australian who was recruited to live in Daesh controlled Syria, a quasi-state that existed from approximately 2012-2013 until 2019.[1] It was a dangerous place, run by brutal racist religious extremists.

Hickam, his wife Aminah, their daughter Sumaya and their adult son Kaled were all convinced to live in Daesh by their charismatic son, Muhammad.[1] Muhammad also convinced them to bring their younger son Yusuf to Daesh with them. Australian security official claim Muhammad played an important role in recruiting dozens of Australians to live in Daesh.

Hickam and Aminah sold their home, and Australian police claim they then tried to donate the proceeds to Daesh.[1]
