Harold and Mimi Steinberg National Student Playwriting Award

  The Harold and Mimi Steinberg National Student Playwriting Award has been rewarding promising playwrights since 1974.[1]

The decision as to whom should receive the award is made by a committee of members of the American Theatre Critics Association.[2]

Accounts differ as to how large the cash portion of the award is, with some sources saying $2,500, or $25,000 or $200,000.[1][2][3]
