Greg Baumgartner
Gregory S. Baumgartner (born April 23, 1955) is an American personal injury attorney with over three decades of experience.[1] He is the founder of the Baumgartner Law Firm based in Huston, Texas.[2]
Early life and education
Baumgartner was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
He holds a BS and JD from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln and an LLM from Denver University. He is also a Trial Lawyers College graduate.[3]
Career
Baumgartner dedicates his practice to representing people who have incurred severe injuries or lost loved ones due to the negligence of other persons or entities throughout the greater Houston metropolitan area and across the state. His primary practice areas include back and neck injuries, brain and head injuries, burn injuries, car accidents, construction accidents, motorcycle accidents, personal injury, product liability, spinal cord injury, truck accidents, and wrongful death.[4]
Throughout his career, Baumgartner has been able to recover millions of dollars in compensation for his plaintiff clients through jury awards after trials and settlements he has negotiated with defendants and their liability insurance carriers.[5]
Baumgartner is admitted to practice law by the Colorado and Texas State Bar Associations and is a member of the American Bar Association.[6] He was board certified as a specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1990 and has been admitted to practice before all Texas state courts since 1984.[7]
Baumgartner founded Baumgartner Law Firm in 1985.[8] It provides legal representation to victims who have been severely injured or have lost someone to accidents. The firm only takes serious injury and wrongful death cases and has been recognized by Newsweek, Super Lawyers, Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and more.[9]
Baumgartner is dedicated to giving back to the community. He has set up an annual $1000 scholarship to help a young person get an education.[10] The scholarship targets a student paying their way through school without parental support.[11]
