The Global Excellence Assembly (GEA) is a New York-based organization dedicated to promoting and recognizing performance excellence through the Baldrige Excellence Framework.[1][2] GEA aims to promote performance excellence by improving governance, ethics, societal responsibilities, competitiveness, and long-term organizational sustainability.

Mission and vision

The Global Excellence Assembly (GEA) has a mission to globally promote and acknowledge performance excellence.[1][2] The organization adopts the Baldrige Excellence Framework, a proven methodology that assists organizations in enhancing their performance and attaining long-term success, by combining the framework with its own guidelines.[1]

The GEA's vision is to foster a continuous improvement and excellence culture, and its awards program is a key part of this effort.[1][2]

The Global Excellence Assembly (GEA) offers the Coordinated Accreditation & Approval Program (CAAP), providing standardized processes for organizations to improve their performance and competitiveness.[3] The Designations Program grants professional designations to individuals showcasing expertise in performance excellence. These programs complement the GEA's mission to promote and recognize excellence.[3]

International Awards program

The Global Excellence Assembly (GEA) is dedicated to promoting excellence and highlights its awards program as a vital component of its mission.[1] Among the notable recipients of GEA Awards is the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), which achieved a milestone by becoming the first government entity globally to receive three Global Excellence Assembly Awards.[4][5][6][7][8][9]

Ambassadors of Excellence

The Global Excellence Assembly (GEA) has notable ambassadors who represent the organization in various countries. H.E. Ahmed Al Jarwan, a former president of the Arab Parliament, holds the distinction of being the first ambassador elected to represent GEA in the United Arab Emirates.[10][11] Additionally, Dr. Eng. Basma El Zein, a research scientist from Saudi Arabia, represents GEA in the Kingdom, showcasing their commitment to promoting excellence in their respective regions.[12]

Hon. Lujaina Mohsin Darwish, a respected Omani politician and businesswoman, has recently been appointed as an Ambassador of Excellence, according to the GEA's information.[13][14][15][16]

Award winners

The Global Excellence Assembly has honored numerous remarkable individuals and organizations for its unwavering dedication to excellence.
