Ghana Music Awards USA
Ghana Music Awards USA[1] is an annual People’s Choice Awards organized by Don's Music[2] Production which is a well-known registered event hub based in the United States with collaborations of strategic ideas.[3]This respected events [4]powerhouse has successfully organized and produced well-patronized Gospel shows Awards Programs,[5] USA tours for some renowned Hip-life and Hip-life artists, and many others.[6]
The Scheme is designed to promote Ghanaian music worldwide and create a solid international platform[7] for promotions, sales, collaborations,[8] business opportunities, [9]and several other benefits for Ghanaian Musicians, creative artists, and industry practitioners in the United States of America and beyond. It also seeks to encourage and celebrate today’s most influential and iconic artists in the Music industry who have entertained Ghanaians and other nationals living in the United States and Ghana in the course of the Year under review.[10]
Ghana Music Awards USA have in the past been supported and endorsed by the Ghana Embassy and The Ghana Permanent Mission to the UN, New York, Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), and the sector ministry in Ghana (Ministry of Arts and Culture).[11]
