GITEX Impact
GITEX Impact is a new event happening for this first time this year and is set to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre in the United Arab Emirates from 16 – 20 October 2023. The event is co-located with GITEX Global – the largest tech show in the world and aims to promote Sustainability objectives, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies, sustainable business models, and public-private partnerships.[1][2][3][4]
It is considered one of the largest and most comprehensive sustainability and ESG events globally, attracting stakeholders from policy makers, non-governmental organizations, big tech and startups, corporations, investors, and academia.[5][6][2][7][8]
GITEX Impact provides a dual platform for sustainability investments and public-private partnerships on a regional level.[9]

Objectives
In 2023, GITEX Impact is expected to attract approximately 20,000+ visitors from all around the globe.[10][11] The main goal of GITEX Impact is to inspire stakeholders to take action towards sustainability by presenting sustainable solutions and best practices that have been implemented to achieve ESG objectives across a variety of industries.[4][12] The event brings together a diverse group of participants, including board members, senior executives, policymakers, innovators, and disruptors from a range of sectors, including food and agriculture, technology, aviation, retail, government, travel and tourism, education, healthcare, financial institutions, creative economy, energy, telecom, and transport and logistics.[1][11][12]
Program Highlights
The five-day GITEX Impact event features thought leadership sessions, exhibitions, discussions, and networking opportunities.[13][1] A forthcoming event has been scheduled to take place between Oct 16 and 20, 2023. The primary theme of the event will revolve around the environment, with specific emphasis on topics related to Net Zero decarbonization, Biodiversity, Water & resource management, and Circular Economy. Social sustainability will also be a focal point, covering subjects such as Equal opportunities, Diversity & Inclusion, Data Privacy, and The Future of Work. The event anticipates more than 20,000+ professionals from various sectors to attend, with the goal of forming new partnerships, discussing ESG targets, and exploring products and solutions.[14]
The upcoming October 2023 event will be co-located with over 6 shows including GITEX Global, AI Everything, Global Dev Slam, XVERSE, Future Urbanism Expo, Electric Future Expo, and in partnership with Expand Northstar, Fintech Surge and Future Blockchain Summit.
The event covers a wide range of topics, including net-zero decarbonization, biodiversity, water & resource management, circular economy, social sectors, equal opportunities, diversity & inclusion, data privacy, governance, the future of work, ESG reporting, compliance, board diversity, executive compensation, and cyber security.[5][15][16] The program is designed to provide a comprehensive view of the sustainability landscape and highlight the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in the field.[8][17][11]

The Future Urbanism Smart City Summit & Expo is an international event focused on sustainable urban development and smart city initiatives, bringing together experts from around the world.[21]
X-VERSE
X-VERSE is a metaverse platform that was launched in 2022. It offers an immersive experience into the potential applications and shifts within the metaverse industry, showcasing various Web 3.0 brands.[22] The platform features case studies and virtual experiences across various industries including gaming, education, healthcare, retail, manufacturing and the future of work. X-VERSE provides an opportunity for global enterprises and potential users to connect and explore the possibilities of virtual environments.[23][24]
AI Everything
Ai-Everything, is one of the world’s largest and most influential events dedicated to artificial intelligence.
Hosted by the UAE’s Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy & Remote Work Application Office, Ai-Everything will advance a more nuanced understanding of today’s Ai technology and its long term potential.
Gathering the global Ai community. Ai brings together large enterprise, public sector and ai practitioners through the maze of technology transforming business and society.

Expand North Star
Expand North Star Dubai is an annual three-day event that showcases the world's largest start-up show. Organized by Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, the event brings together more than 1,000 exhibitors from 60 countries in a thriving and innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem.[25] The event was conceptualized seven years ago as GITEX Future Stars with only 200 participating start-ups.[26] However, it has since grown to become a globally recognized platform for start-ups and scale-ups. The event provides a creative format to extend engagements with venture capitalists, unicorns, scale-ups, start-ups, and key stakeholders in the tech ecosystem.
