Francesco Segreto
Dr. Francesco Segreto (born May 26, 1987, in Villaricca, Naples) is an Italian medical specialist in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery with a PhD in aging and tissue regeneration sciences.[1]

Early life and education
Segreto was born on May 26, 1987, in Villaricca, Naples in the Campania region of Italy.[2] He graduated in 2011 in Medicine and Surgery with a specialization in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at the Università Campus Bio-Medico.[3] Later he got a II level Master's degree in Aesthetic, Functional, and Reconstructive Surgery of the Nasal Pyramid at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. In 2018, he obtained the National Scientific Qualification as an Associate Professor in Plastic Surgery. He completed training at Harvard Medical School in Boston, where he obtained the diploma of Global Clinical Scholar.[4]
Career
Dr. Segreto has performed over 5,000 surgeries as a first operator since he started his professional career. He is the author of 60 scientific publications in the most prestigious global plastic surgery journals and a speaker at the most important international conferences. Inventor of 2 patents; in 2017 he was awarded the ThursdayScienza Award for Best Researcher Under 35, in 2019 the Eccellenze del Sud Award, and in 2021 the Prestigious European Award in Medicine.[3][5]
His main fields of interest are cosmetic surgery and aesthetic and regenerative medicine, branches in which he is the inventor of some innovative techniques and devices that have allowed doctors to obtain better results and reduce post-operative complications.[6][7] He trained in Rome under the guidance of Professor Persichetti, and has worked in many other countries including Spain, Brazil, and Japan.[8]
