Euran S. Daniels

Euran S. Daniels is an African American[1] international award-winning author, producer, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur across many industries, including entertainment, technology, education, and tourism.[2] He is the founder of Daniels Creative Consulting LLC, Daniels Tours LLC,[3] and Daniels Production Company LLC.

Early life and education

Daniels was born in Wilmington, North Carolina. Overcoming the challenges of Congenital Nevus, a rare skin condition he was born with, he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Communication at North Carolina State University. In 2020, he completed a Master’s Certificate program in Project Management at George Washington University and later completed the John Maxwell Certification Program in 2021.

Recording weddings, fashion shows, and other small events as a hobby soon transformed into a business venture. Daniels started his own video production company, Reflections Video, at age 10.[4] By age 13, he had taken over Wilmington and surrounding areas and began to create other opportunities through his videotaping business. Black Entertainment Television’s Teen Summit and Coca-Cola named Daniels as one of the top ten teens in the nation at age 15. Gaining international recognition for his achievements in business, Daniels immediately transitioned from smaller projects to larger-scope projects in film and television.[5]

In his early childhood, he produced Teens -N- Progress, a television talk show designed to bring youth of all races, cultures, and genders together to discuss issues they face daily. His credits also include acting in feature films, including but not limited to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Inkwell.[6]

Daniels received a Black Belt in martial arts at an early age and swiftly excelled to become a member of the US Olympic Team, which qualified him to compete in the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, Korea.[7]

Career

Daniels started his professional career in Research Triangle Park, North Carolin at IBM. He worked at IBM for over a decade, leaving the firm in 2009 as a Program Manager at IBM’s World-Wide Level II Call Center, where he was responsible for new product development, strategic outsourcing, and worldwide level II customer service.

Entrepreneur

Daniels serves as the president of Daniels Creative Consulting LLC, Daniels Tours LLC,[8] and Daniels Production Company LLC (previously Reflections Video).[9][10] Daniels Creative Consulting LLC is a project management, event planning, and technology consultancy, whereas Daniels Production Company LLC is a full-stack video production company offering pre-production and post-production services. Daniels Tours LLC is a Department of Defense Certified ground transportation service provider offering services including transportation logistics planning for special events, motor coach transportation, mini-buses, vans, sedans, and airport shuttles.

Daniels is currently a member of the Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors,[11] the University of North Carolina at Wilmington Cameron School of Business Executive Advisory Board,[12] and the North Carolina Motor Coach Association Board of Directors. Previously, he has served on the following executive advisory boards:

Author

Daniels is the co-author of the book Business Success Secrets: Entrepreneurial Thinking That Works.[15][16]

Producer

Daniels is the executive producer of The Port City Gospel Explosion and The Port City Step-Off. He has contributed to several production teams capturing events such as the McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour. Over the years, his contributions have assisted in capturing artists, including the late Bishop G. E. Patterson, Martha Munizzi, Fred Hammond, Shirley Caesar, the Tommies Reunion Choir, and many more.

In 2016, Daniels contributed in different ways to the overall production of There’s My Angel, a Wake Media Film produced in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Philanthropy

Daniels established a $25,000 endowment scholarship at the University of North Carolina Wilmington to promote diversity. At the time of creation, he was the youngest donor in UNCW's history to create an endowed scholarship at age 30. In the 2007-08 academic year, Daniels separately funded five $1,000 scholarships.[17][18] UNCW has been awarding this scholarship annually since its inception in 2007. [19][20] Daniels has also contributed to various other colleges and universities.

Daniels is a USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Amazon, and Readers' Favorite international award-winning best-selling author.[21] He has received numerous awards and has appeared on several television shows, including CNN Talkback Live, BET’s Teen Summit, and BET’s Screen Scene.[22] Profiles on Daniels’ success have also been featured in numerous publications worldwide.

Personal life

Daniels most prestigious titles are husband to Caroletta Daniels and father to John and Maya Baker. He is the son of Wilma Daniels and the late Windell Daniels, and the brother of Windell Jamar Daniels. His heart for service is rooted in his strong Christian faith. He is a member of Wake Chapel Church in Raleigh, North Carolina.[23] He is also a Life Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.
