Emran Hasan Rabbi (ইমরান হাসান রাব্বী) was born on January 1, 1994 in Sarishabari, Jamalpur. Emran Hasan Rabbi working as a journalist since 2013.

Now he is working in Bangladesh's private satellite television Channel 24. Besides, he has also worked for the English Daily Observer and leading online media Jago News 24.

He has been involved in journalism since 2013. Presently serving as Literary and Publication Editor of Sherpur Press Club and Founder General Secretary of Sherpur Youth Reporters Club.He is working as a volunteer in the gap of professional engagement.

As President of Volunteers for Bangladesh (VBD) and holds important positions in various literary and social organizations of the Sherpur district.

Early life and Education

Completed SSC in 2009 with GPA 5.00 and HSC in 2011 with merit. Later he completed his graduation in English from Sherpur Government College.

He is currently studying law. In the beginning of his career, he worked as a part-time lecturer in English in schools and colleges.

In 2011 he worked as a therapist and educational program for children with disabilities in an NGO funded by the CordAID Netherland. Later he joined journalism in 2013.

Personal Life

Emran Hasan Rabbi is the elder of the two children of businessman Aminul Islam and teacher Sultana Islam. Younger brother Eamon Hasan Rahad, a college student.

In personal life, Emran Hasan Rabi is married and father of two children. Elder son Easin Tafsir Aavi and younger son Eamin Tafsir Aahi. He has a small family with wife Jharna Hasan and two sons.

He lives with his family at Jhenaigati Upazila Thana Road in Sherpur district.
