Elliot Lipinsky is an attorney, author and politician from Alabama, United States.

Early life and education

Elliott Lipinsky was born in Montgomery, Alabama to Joseph and Katherine Lipinsky in 1986. Elliott Lipinsky is a life-long resident of Alabama and a native of Montgomery, Alabama. He attended Saint James Schoool. Lipinsky studied law at Thomas Goode Jones School of Law and University of Alabama.

Personal life

He is married to the former Caroline Handey. They have three children.

Career

Lipinsky has been working as 4th Judicial Circuit Assistant District Attorney, Alabama since June, 2017.[1] He has previously served as Sixth Judicial Circuit Deputy District Attorney from June 2016 till May 2017.

Elliott has a very active involvement in the River Region. He was the Secretary of the Montgomery County Republican Executive Committee, Secretary/Treasurer of the Oil, Mineral, Natural Gas Section of the Alabama Bar, Vice president of the Young Lawyer Section of the Montgomery County Bar, and is a member of various boards and social clubs.

In 2018, he was the Republican candidate for Alabama's State auditor.[2] He was defeated by Jim Zeigler.[3]

Elliott has served as a prosecutor in a variety of areas throughout the State. Elliott began his career in the Fourth Judicial Circuit’s District Attorney’s Office in Selma, Alabama. He prosecuted various crimes throughout the circuit. He handled traffic cases to murder cases. He was the only prosecutor handling white-collar crimes, and traveled the entire five county circuit. Lipinsky prosecuted in Tuscaloosa County and Wilcox County, Alabama.

Private law firm

Lipinsky has his private law practice. He has law offices in Selma and Montgomery, Alabama. He has made an impact in the community by handling high profile trials.

Books authored

In 2020, Elliott Lipinsky published the book, Space Pup: The Adventures of Elrod Cannon.[4][5]

Controversies

In 2019, Elliott Lipinsky was charged with two counts of computer tampering and one count of attempted computer tampering but the charges were later dismissed by the state and his record was expunged.[6][7]
