Dr. Ravindra Nallagonda married Dr.S.Deepa, she is the Dermatologist and Cosmetologist. They have a son and a daughter

Education

Ravindra Nallagonda has done his MBBS from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada(Dec, 1993 – Dec, 1998) and Internship 1998 - 99. He completed his Doctor of Medicine for Pulmonary medicine from Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam,(Nov/ Dec 2001- 04). His Fellow in Critical Care Medicine(FCCM) from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad.(Sep 2006). He has done his ISCCM (Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine) in United States (Mar 2008) and FCCP (ACCP- USA) - 2012.


Biography

Ravindra Nallagonda is one of the best and leading Pulmonary Consultant from India. He has worked as Consultant in Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine, Apollo Health city, Jubilee hills, Hyderabad(Oct 2006 to Oct 2007). He was a HOD- Pulmonary Critical Care, Sleep Medicine at Aware Global Hospital, LB Nagar, Hyderabad(July 2009 to Apr 2017). He acted has a In – Charge RIC, Aware Global Hospital, LB Nagar, In Charge Swine Flu Ward/ ICU – Aware Global Hospital; LB Nagar and Teacher – Indo- Australian Critical Care Fellowship program, Hospital Infection Control Committee (HICC) Chairperson at Care Hospital Nampally and Aware Global Hospital LB Nagar – for more than 6 years. He also worked in Omni Hospital, Aster Prime Hospital, Ameerpet, as a HOD from 2017 to 2020.As of now he is a CHAIRMAN to Ravindra Hospital in Chaitanyapuri, Hyderabad. [1]

He is the very first person in the state among corporations to take up and manage Swine Flu Category C patients effectively with excellent outcomes. Ravindra Nallagonda is also the First person along with corporate in Andhra Pradesh started ECMO successfully for swine flu adult patients. He has a Vast experience in treating critically ill SARI patients in covid 19 pandemic with very good outcomes Ravindra Conducted more than 500 medical camps or public awareness programmes in the communities Nallagonda Ravindra presented more than 300 awareness participation in electronic and print media regarding swine flu, covid 19 and critical care, pulmonology sleep medicine.[2]

Awards & Honors

He had received Vaidya Ratna Award from Suman Arts at Hyderabad from the hands of Dr.K.Rosaiah, Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in 2018. On 2nd August 2021, Dr.Ravindra Nallagonda was honoured with Dr.C.Narayana Reddy Jeevitha Safalya Award title from Tejaswini Cultural Association, on the occasion of Dr.C.Narayana Reddy 90th Birth Anniversary celebrations at Ravindra Bharathi,Hyderabad.
