Dr. Mashiur was born in Rajshahi but raised in Dhaka. He received his primary education at Urea Sar Karkhana School in Gorashal and Mohammadpur Kakoli School. In his childhood, he enjoyed playing with his neighbors. Later on, he was admitted to Rajshahi Cadet College, a highly disciplined school in Bangladesh that is well-known for its quality education. While studying there, Dr. Mashiur developed an interest in cultural and literary pursuits. He was even selected as the Cultural Secretary of the boarding house due to his passion for these areas.

Upon completing his higher secondary education (HSC) from Rajshahi Cadet College, Dr. Mashiur passed the entrance exam and was admitted to the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. However, he later received the prestigious Monbusho scholarship, a renowned government-funded scholarship in Japan. In 1995, Dr. Mashiur moved to Japan and enrolled in The Japanese Language School at the International Students Institute. He successfully completed the Japanese language certification course that same year.

He then continued his studies at Toyohashi University of Technology, earning both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Driven by his passion for biosensors, Dr. Mashiur pursued a Ph.D. in Physics in Biosensors at the University for Advance Studies in Aichi, Japan. After completing his doctoral studies, he conducted Postdoctoral research in Chemistry (Biosensors) at Marshall University in West Virginia, USA.

As a result of his diverse educational background, Dr. Mashiur possesses a strong foundation in various fields, including electrical engineering, biosensor, clinical system, health app, software, and hardware.
