Dorka
Maayan Dor (Hebrew: מעיין דור; born 24 September 1995), known professionally by her stage name Dorka, is an Israeli musician, producer, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist.[1][2][3]
Early life and education
Dorka was born in Jerusalem, Israel. Dorka learned how to play a guitar at age 9 and started playing keyboard and creating electronic music at the age of 15. In high school she majored in music and theatre and graduated from the “Yellow Submarine” music program.[4] At 18, she was conscripted into the Israeli Education and Youth Corps and served as a soldier teacher for 2 years. After her servies she graduated synthesis studies in BPM College of sound and Production in Tel Aviv.[1][2][4]
Career
Dorka released his first single, "Love Makes People Crazy", in the end of2017, as part of an electronic pop joint project with the Producer Tuka Eilon. Thirer last single “Leave All Behind” was released in 2020. In the end on 2021 Dorka released new single called “ Day By Day” that got puppolar in Europe and especially in Spain, according to that Dorka collaborated with a spanish DJ “Albendin” for Day By Day remix In 2023 Dorka announced her new EP and released already 2 singles “ 5% is music” and “ Time Time Time” he EP is more closely associated with indie electro-pop genres, more exposed, and with a return to guitar roots. Alongside her performances.[1][5][3]
