David L. Taylor is a retired officer in the United States Air Force.[1] Taylor retired on January 1 2006. His last post was Deputy Director of Personnel at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

In the year 2001 he was the Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications and Information, Information Assurance Policy Branch.[2]

Most notably however Taylor worked in the Office of Administrative Review of Detained Enemy Combatants, on Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, where he was responsible for assuring the detainees' dossiers were properly maintained.[3]
