Dawn Medrek
Donna Martin[1] (known professionally as Dawn Medrek) is an American-Canadian musician and internet celebrity who rose to fame by remixing songs by people such as Debby Ryan and Adassa and then uploading them to Spotify.

Background
Originally, Dawn made animations on her YouTube channel. Dawn made an account on myCast. From there she became a problematic user after she uploaded a picture of Zoe Laverne to her myCast actor profile.
Music career
In January 2021, Dawn made a remix of Hey Jessie by Debby Ryan and published it to her YouTube channel. She then later uploaded it to streaming services via DistroKid.
Kim Possible and Feel Good
In September 2021, Dawn uploaded a beat that she made entitled "Kim Possible" to Scratch and the myCast Discord server. The song received positive reception along with it becoming the most streamed song on her Spotify profile. The song outbeat "I Just Came To Party" for two months[2] until she released her 2nd EP called "On Me / Look."
Goth Bitch
In July of 2022, Dawn released her debut album entitled "Goth Bitch." According, she said she is turning over a new leaf and was tired of being judged for being a blonde and making upbeat music. The album features more hard hitting dark beats along with a song Dawn Medrek made back in 2020 entitled "Princess Peach VS Peaches Geldof." The song was quick to rise up Dawn's most played songs on Spotify along with "Wrong About You" and "Revenge."
Controversies
myCast Drama
In April 2021, Dawn added herself to the actor database on myCast. Shen then added a couple of animated images of herself and then a random image of some teenage girl.[3] The ATTF was calling her and Peach_SSBU a fake since Peach did the same. Then Dawn got onto the Top 50 of the myCast Actors. This outraged the ATTF and her profile kept changing every 20 mins. She then deleted the random image and added a bunch of images of TikTok star Zoe Laverne. Later on, Cam_and_Vyond shared some screenshots of a Snapchat conversation and one of the screenshots included a death threat to Pococrazy17.[4]
Go!Animate
In a Discord server based around the Go!Animate community, Dawn was exposed for being a former Lily Anderson supporter and fangirl. She then proceeded to defended herself, attack other users and throw shade at them. She was also exposed for a player after she was again exposed dating 3 guys at once.
Scratch
In November 2020, Dawn was banned from Scratch after a controversy of her supposedly telling someone to go "fuck themselves." She then wrote to the appeals email and told them what she did was wrong
