Mustafa Qarooni, also known as DJ Sadcat, is an emirati International DJ, rapper, and producer hailing from Dubai. Born and raised in the vibrant music scene of the United Arab Emirates, DJ Sadcat has made a significant impact on the local and international music scene with his unique style and versatile skills.
Early life
He was born in Dubai in 1988. His name was Mustafa Qarooni. Since his childhood, he's always had a passion for music and has always wanted to write his own songs.in 2004, he started his music career with (Arabic hip hop music) with different sounds of urban, reggae and house music worldwide. He’s also known as the king of hip-hop from the 2000s in Dubai.in Year 2009 He was sentenced to prison but he got the release for the sentence from the judge due to his ill health. Dj sadcat ended up with creating a song (Surrounded) for his situation, which was about his accident. The song was notable in youtube for the life of a person been destroy for not knowing what he did. The culture didn't support it so people been reported the song for spam[1] As a teenager, DJ SadCat discovered a great passion for music by attending raves and numerous club events that impacted and shaped his sense of music. Therefore DJ SadCat had dropped his hip-hop songs such as ‘Nude Life', ‘Surrounded', ‘Skate', ‘This Is My Life', just to name a few. He self - taught himself to become a DJ. In 2004, he created his own mixtapes. One of his friends heard his music and encouraged him to pursue DJing professionally.
Career
DJ Sad Cat has played for a wide variety of artists across a huge range of locations throughout Dubai, the UAE and internationally. Currently he plays regularly to a crowd of 2000 and for world class artists from across the globe. DJ SadCat has become an ambassador of the music scene in UAE.Being a resident DJ at one of the top nightclubs has given him the opportunity to DJ for World-Renowned Artists such as 50 Cent, J - Lo, Akon, Rick Ross, Nas, Shaggy, Busta Rhymes, Swizz beats, 6ix9ine, Fat Joe just to name a few.[2]
