BonusFinder is a bonus comparison website[1] for the online gambling industry focusing primarily on online casinos and sportsbooks.

History and Overview

Headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands, BonusFinder was founded in 2019 by Fintan Costello, the company's current Managing Director;[2][1] and is a subsidiary of Finder Media B.V.[3][4] The vision behind BonusFinder was of Riku Vihreasaari, a professional high-stakes poker player who served as the company's Editor-in-Chief for over ten years.[5]

The company serves in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Colombia, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Peru, Ireland, and Norway. It has been featured on multiple platforms including Fox News,[6][7] CNN[8], and The Mirror[9]

In 2019, the company was nominated for the iGB Affiliate Awards in the Best Newcomer category.

In June 2020, the company became a Responsible Affiliate in Gambling (RAIG) member, an independent body set up to ensure that certain industry standards are met, especially in promoting a safer gambling environment through social responsibility.[10] The platform was launched in Spain[11][12] and Italy in the same year.[13][14]

In 2021, BonusFinder appeared on EGaming Review's list of most powerful affiliates of the year in the 23rd position.[15] The company also holds several U.S. affiliate licenses, including[16]

In February 2022, BonusFinder was acquired by Gambling.com, a marketing company in the gambling sector providing digital marketing services to gamers to connect them with opportunities in the modern gaming world.[5][21] It is a public company on NASDAQ.[22]

Marketing and Advertising

Known for its original marketing campaigns, the company holds a history of promoting unconventional job positions, including paid positions for tasting ice cream, cheeseburgers,[8][23][24][25]and candy;[26] and visiting Major League Baseball (MLB) stadiums to try out the best hot dogs.

In 2021, the company launched a contest to find a professional binge-watcher, who was called on to watch and rank three Netflix series while testing and reviewing takeout pizza.[6][27] BonusFinder also launched Pumpkin Pies Reviewing Contest.[6][7]

The company's team conducts specialized research focused on extraordinary sports facts and details, including the highest-paying strikes in a single fight,[28] the Premier League team with the worst record of injuries, the sports teams having the longest-serving managers[15] or the sexiest football managers of the UEFA EURO 2020.[29]
