BoB Finance
BoB Finance is a Lebanese money transfer company based in Lebanon with headquarters in Horsh Tabet, Beirut. It has over 700+ offices and agents around the country. BOB FINANCE money transfer services are divided into two categories: International Money Transfers through Western Union and Local Money Transfers around Lebanon. The company provides its services to individuals and businesses through a network of agents and flagship locations. BOB FINANCE is the second largest provider of money transfers in Lebanon. The company operates in more than 200 villages and cities across Lebanon.

History


BOB Finance was first established as a subsidiary of Bank of Beirut S.A.L in 2005 and afterwards became a financial service provider. In 2009, it was accredited as a Western Union agent in Lebanon. BOB Finance (2005–present) In 2005, Bank of Beirut S.A.L incorporated BOB Finance as a financial service provider. In 2009, the BOB Finance brand and business was accredited by Western Union as its representative in Lebanon. In 2010, the company started catering to the private sector, offering unbanked and seasonal employees a way to cash out their earnings. In 2011, BoB Finance acquired 3 Telecommunication deals with Lebanon’s landline service provider (ogero) and the country’s two cellular service providers alfa and Touch. By 2015, BOB Finance had expanded across the country to include over 500+ agents in regions such as the Bekaa, Mount-Lebanon, and the South. The company had also introduced additional services such as bill payment, online money transfers and online cards. In 2019, the company's agent network reached 700+ locations including several flagship stores.
