Alliance Specialty Contractor was founded by military veteran Jody Crum in Columbus, Georgia.[1] Prior to founding Alliance Specialty Contractor, Crum was also the founder of local roofing contractor RoofPerx.[2] Presently, Alliance Specialty Contractor has grown from earning an initial revenue of $485,000 in 2020, into a multi-million dollar enterprise earning $1,600,000 in the first quarter of 2022. The company's headquarters is located in Columbus, Georgia at 4425 Holly Avenue.[3]

Habitat For Humanity

On December 17, 2021, Alliance Specialty Contractor announced that it is starting its partnership with Auburn Opelika Habitat for Humanity through a donation of a free roof for house #71, which will help advance the organization’s mission to build homes, communities and hope. Alliance Specialty Contractor intends to donate more than $50,000 to Habitat for Humanity to support affordable homeownership in local communities in the second year of partnership. [10]

House of Heroes

On May 19th, 2022, Alliance Specialty Contractor provided a new roof for a widow of a military veteran. Alliance Specialty Contractor partnered with House of Heroes and Home Depot to provide a roof for the widow of Specialist Rufus Battle, Patricia Battle. CEO of Alliance Specialty Contractor, Jody Crum, donated services to help Mr. Battle's widow. [11]

Internship

Alliance Specialty Contractor is launching the first-ever Alliance Internship Program (AIP). The program kicked off on April 1, 2022, and offers paid internship opportunities for current undergraduate and graduate students. The program features hands-on experience in Field Sales Representatives, Marketing, IT, Human Resources, Training, and Operations. [12]

Auburn, Alabama. – June 6, 2022 – Alliance Specialty Contractor has hired two new interns to work for the summer of 2022. The Lee County Public School’s internship offers hundreds of high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors the opportunity to professionally present themselves to employers looking to hire interns. Alliance Specialty Contractor received several resumes from qualified candidates. Students were required to go through face-to-face interviews to select the final three candidates. At the end of this process, a junior from Auburn High School was hired to work for Alliance Specialty Contractor starting June 6th, also, a senior from Auburn High School was hired to work for Alliance Specialty Contractor starting June 6th. The interns hired by Alliance Specialty Contractor described their experience at the internship interviews as scary. “This was the first time that I’d been put in the place to be professional and as rewarding and fun as the internship expo was, it was definitely a scary experience. I do think, though, that this whole experience, working with Alliance Specialty Contractor, is excellent work experience for the future, and I’m really excited for this opportunity.”
