Biography
Ahmed Istiaque Himel.[1] is a Bangladeshi Filmmaker and Architect. Before that in 2010-2011 he was a Faculty Head at BIDD (Bangladesh Institute of Design & Development). He was also the Head of Media Production at Naveed Mahbub Inc from 2018 to 2019. Right now he is working as a filmmaker at 4D Films .[2] and the director of Iconicfocus24 .[3]. He is the general secretary of Pathshala Film And Television Forum. He is also a 3D artist & animator of Bangladesh.
Other than these, he worked as an Assistant Director at Popcorn Entertainment (A Redoan Rony Production) and as a freelance cinematographer.
Education
Ahmed Istiaque Himel completed his graduation from University of Asia Pacific - UAP on Architecture. He has done his post graduation from University of Dhaka .[4] on Film & Television. He also studied Photojournalism at Pathshala South Asian Media Institute.
Career
Ahmed Istiaque Himel has done some production for TV, online and various mediums. He also made Television Fiction/Drama,Short films,Video Art, Documentary,TVC & OVC. He made commercials for Mastul, Picky, Merigold, Prince Cycle, Myth, Desco,NRBC Bank etc. He also directed the TV Drama Oshomo Prem, Ctrl Alt Delete etc. And produced Depressed Generation.
