Mohammed Abdur Rashid popularly known as Abdur Rashid Lokman (born 24 february 1980) is a well-known face in Chittagong politics. He is serving as the Vice President of Chattogram mohanagar awami swecchashebok league. He is best known for his outspokenness and protest against injustice in the field of politics.
Early life and education
Lokman was born in Chattogram in 1980. He passed Secondary School Certificate-SSC exam from chattogram municipal model school college in 1993 and Higher Secondary (School) Certificate-HSC exam from Uttar Kattali Alhaj Mostafa Hakim Degree College, Chattogram in 1995. He graduated from Govt. Commerece College in 1998.
Political Career
During Abdur Rashid Lokman's school life in the 90's mass movement in the historic Dewanhat intersection, in an anti-dictatorship rally on the occasion of Double Mooring Police Station Awami League, elder brother current 23 North Pathantuli Ward Awami League President, (then No. 18 North Pathantuli Ward Awami League Joint General Secretary) with Haji Idris Kazemi. Entry into politics by joining processions.
And in the 1991 National Assembly election, the candidate of the boat symbol, Mr. Ishaq Mier, a member of the former Constituent Assembly, made a special display of the main election office in the shape of a boat.
From that time, he was inspired by the ideals of Bangabandhu through family sources
A member of Bangladesh Awami League, he became an active worker of Bangladesh Chhatra League.

Sports and Others Organizing Career
In 1994, the journey to Lionism began as a Treasurer in the Bandar Nagari Leo Club under Leo District 315B2, an international service organization.
In 2008, Abdur Rashid Lokman was elected the first director of Brothers Union Cricket Chittagong.
