Staks is a Guardian GoBot who turns into a semi-truck. He calls himself "king of the road". He considers Leader-1 to be his "buddy".[1] He should not be confused with the 1995 Transformers character Staxx or the 2014 X-Transbots character Stax.

Staks was named 13 on the list of "20 GoBots That Remind Us Why the GoBots Sucked So Incredibly Hard" by Rob Bricken on in 2013.[2]

Like most GoBots, Staks has numerous abilities because of his robotic body. He can survive in space and is super-humanly strong and tough. He can fly in robot mode and project energy blasts from his hands. His body heals quickly when supplied with energy. He can turn into a semi-truck.

Staks first appeared in the Challenge of the GoBots episode 1, "Battle for GoBotron".
