Fictional biography
Micro Robo was released at the tail end of a canceled Japanese toyline, and largely forgotten in favor of a more popular western iteration with a new colouration.
Despite being a "good-guy" toy, his decades left unsold and unopened in the toy aisles turned him bitter and twisted. Years later he learned to break free of his plastic prison by turning his amazing powers on himself, he literally pulled himself through his matter enlarging scope to emerge as a full sized robot. He now changes size at will, and uses this to hide in plain sight as a micro scope, stealing well played with kids toys and destroying them by day. By night he scours the toy isles searching or others like him; the unsold and unloved, and frees them from their packaging. He upscales them to join his growing army, and when the time is right, they will turn against their human oppressors.
