Explorer (FansProject)
Explorer is a fictional character made by FansProject as a third party Transformer. He is an homage to the Transformer Generation 1 version of Blast Off.
Transformers
Explorer is an homage to the Transformers Combaticion Blast Off. When the Transformers: Universe Bruticus set was released Blast Off turned into a tank instead of his Generation 1 form of a space shuttle. This toy is meant to replace him in that set. The set also comes with a number of accessories which can be used with the other Combaticons, or combined with the accessories from Munitioner to form an homage to Generation 1 Bruticus, called Colossus.
Explorer turns into a space shuttle or the right arm of Colossus.
Promotional photos of Maketoys Giant included a comparison with Colossus.
Fictional biography
With lasers as you blast across the battlefield. Avoiding to trip over deactivated allies while dodging those who wish to see you among them. You soon realize your standard tech is not enough. but out of no where your comrads bring you a new weapon, forged from the fires of the great war. It comes to mind, you now hold the key to change the tide of this battle, if you dare enter... CROSSFIRE![1]

- FansProject Crossfire TFX-02A Explorer (2010)
- An original third party Transformer mold. Meant to replace the tank Blast Off on the Universe Bruticus combiner. He was remolded into Flameblast.
- Reprolabels Crossfire (2011)
- A set of labels for Explorer and Munitioner to make them look more like Generation 1 Blast Off and Swindle.[2]
