The first Brimstone is a Decepticon from the planet Animatros who turns into a robotic pterosaur. He was introduced in 2005.

Fictional biography

BRIMSTONE likes the simple things -- food, flying, trashing AUTOBOTS. He leaves stuff like thinking, planning and noticing what's going on in the world around him to his pal UNDERMINE, which is just as well because that tiny, little head of his contains a badly undersized CPU. Still, being dumb doesn't make BRIMSTONE any less dangerous. In flight, he is totally silent, and his diamond-edged vanadium wing blades can pierce even the toughest armor.

Animated series

In Transformers: Cybertron Brimstone is one of the servants of Scourge, the leader of Jungle Planet. Though originally the planet was plagued by poverty, marauders, and lawlessness, Scourge would manage to bring order through a policy of dictatorship. Brimstone would aid him in his rise to power, and would become one of his personal underlings and temple guardians.

Often seen with Undermine, who also transformed into a prehistoric saurian, Brimstone's chief role in the series was that of a loyal underling and aerial scout. He is not very bright.

As the Grand Black Hole continued to enlarge, Primus attempted to seal it. This was witnessed through giant space bridges on Velocitron by Brakedown, Clocker and Dirt Boss, on the planet Animatros by Backstop, Undermine and Brimstone, and on Earth (episode 42, "City").

Later, Brimstone would join the Autobots' alliance of Transformers throughout the galaxy along with Scourge and Undermine. He participated in the final battle against Galvatron.

In the final episode Optimus Prime proposed a new Space Bridge project using the power of the four Cyber Planet Keys and the four great ships. Many Autobots and former Decepticons joined in the project. Metroplex lead the Giant Planet ship and key with Drillbit, Undermine and Brimstone.

The second Brimstone is a Mini-Con who turns into a dragon. He was introduced in 2008

Transformers

The third Brimstone is a Decepticon from the 2010 Transformers line. He turns into a motorcycle.

Fictional biography

There was a time when BRIMSTONE was king of the roads on CYBERTRON. He was meaner, faster and tougher than anything else on wheels, and he made sure everyone knew it. The only rival he ever really had was HUBCAP, so it was only natural they ended up on opposite sides in the war. BRIMSTONE may be older now, but he's also meaner, and there's no way he's going down without taking HUBCAP with him.

The fourth Brimstone is a 2014 Botcon exclusive Decepticon pirate who turns into a flying gun.

Fictional biography

If Brimstone could, he would perch himself on Cannonball's shoulder and repeat back all of the captain's words. Brimstone is not just loyal, he is codependent. His circuits burn just a little brighter when Cannonball praises him for bringing tidbits of knowledge to his attention, which he does with great regularity. If Brimstone hungers after any one thing more than Cannonball's approval, it is gaining more information. Brimstone enjoys assimilating information from monitor duty and eavesdropping on the conversations of crewmates. He relishes the discovery of internal grumbling and possible mutiny almost as much as he enjoys the reaction to this news by his captain. Cannonball appreciates Brimstone's loyalty because it helps keep the crew in line. But he equally appreciates Brimstone's ability to convert into a mini rail gun. In this powerful form, Brimstone can fire a solid cybertonium slug up to five nanoclicks away while maintaining independent flight, but his accuracy improves when wielded by his crewmate, Pirate Scorponok.
