Highway Robo is a fictional character from the Machine Robo series introduced in 1982. He is a heroic member of the Battle Clan.
Machine Robo
Highway Robo is a heroic member of the Battle Clan who turns into a truck. Because of his mechanoid nature he does not need to breath oxygen and is resistant to cold, but is vulnerable to intense magnetic fields. His weapon of choice is his Ionoid Anti-Radar Scanner.
He should not be confused with Toyworld's Highway.
Reception
Animated series
Highway Robo first appeared in episode 11, "Pledging Love on the Great River", where he was seen in the mining town of Dakota.[1]

- Bandai Machine Robo MR-06 Highway (1982)
- A new mold by Bandai. Turns from truck to robot.
- This toy was repurposed as GoBots Hi-Way.
