Zain Ali Muhammad (born July 12, 2012)[1] a.k.a Zain Hollywood is an American football prodigy. Since the age of eight, Muhammad has been trained by former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Quincy Carter.[2][3]

Early life

Muhammad was born in 2012 in Texas and currently living in Austin, Texas to Ali Muhammad and Ebony Charles and has two older siblings and a younger brother.[4][5] Currently, Muhammad is in the news for being the number-one quarterback prospect in the country for the class of 2030

Career

Muhammad models his game after the likes of league greats such as Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Kyler Murrey, and Tom Brady. He travels back and forth between Texas and Atlanta to train with former Georgia Bulldogs and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Quincy Carter.[2] Muhammad has said in interviews that he has modeled his style and performance after Lamar Jackson, the current American football QB for the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL, whom he watches daily. In fact, during his brief time on Sunday Night Football on NBC, he was given the nickname Lamar Jackson 2.0 due to the pair’s similarities in abilities and style.[6] He was also recently trained by the University of South Florida quarterback Baylin Trujillo and Coach Glenn, whom football fans would recognize as Antonio Brown’s trainer. Muhammad was also trained by Odell Beckham, Quincy Carter, and Baker Mayfield.[1]

Muhammad is a 19-time flag football champion, he has also won 3 flag football world championships in three different divisions, and out of 101 games played through 2020 where his team has won 97 played games.[2]

He has received praise and feedback from several NFL figures, including Mohammed Sanu, Antonio Brown, Vince Young, Roc Carmichael, and eminent NFL Analyst James Jones, a former Superbowl winner who has even been spotted attending one of Hollywood’s American football games.[6]

Recognition

The quarterback phenom is a 19-time flag football champion. Muhammad has also won three flag football world championships in three different divisions, and out of 101 games played in the last year and a half, his team has won 97 times.[7][8][9][10]

Personal life

Muhammad wants to open his training facility by the time he reaches middle school. He loves reading, math, and other sports, including soccer and basketball. He is a supporter of peace and equality and regularly donates to charities.[11][12] His favorite pre-game song is QuickSand by Morray and Anything by Migos.[13] Muhammad has personalized shoes and clothes with his logo and nickname, Hollywood.
