New Shinkansen Robo is a fictional character from the Machine Robo series. He is a member of the Battle Tribe who turns into a bullet train. He was introduced as a toy in 1983, but did not appear in fiction until 1986.

Animated series

Porsche Robo and New Shinkansen Robo guard the central computer in Yamilan city in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos episode #28

New Shinkansen Robo is first seen as a citizen of Bamela.

In episode 19, "Race to the Death!" he took part in the race at Momo, running fairly well until (harmlessly) crashing into a pool of water.

After that he helped in the defense of Yamilan but was seemingly destroyed by Garudi while defending the city's master computer.
