Mr. Harrigan's Phone
Mr. Harrigan's Phone is an upcoming American horror movie. The film stars Donald Sutherland, Jaeden Martell, Jaeden Martell, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Joe Tippett, Cyrus Arnold, and Carl Zohan, written and directed by John Lee Hancock based on the novella of the same name by Stephen King from the collection If It Bleeds. The movie scheduled to be released on October 5, 2022, by Netflix.[1]
Premise
A boy named Craig befriends the elderly Mr. Harrigan and gives him a cell phone. When Mr. Harrigan passes away, Craig begins to make calls to his old number about those who torment him, only to find that doing so results in Mr. Harrigan's spirit avenging his young friend from beyond the grave.

Production
On July 10, 2020, it was reported by Deadline Hollywood that Netflix had acquired film rights to "Mr. Harrigan's Phone", to be produced by Blumhouse Productions and Ryan Murphy and with John Lee Hancock writing and directing the film.[2][3]
On October 1, 2021, it was reported that Donald Sutherland and Jaeden Martell were cast as the leads.[4] Later in October, it was reported that Kirby Howell-Baptiste and Joe Tippett were cast in the film.[5][6]
On October 8, 2021, it was reported that filming started in Connecticut on October 20, 2021 and wrapped on December 22, 2021.[3]
