The MSA-01 Fumina is the second mobile suit piloted by Melissa Newman in Drifting Down: The MS Girl. After her previous suit, the Ningyo, is crippled by Clarissa Smithson, Melissa becomes the Fumina's pilot when she discovers the machine in a derelict military base. Later, Mr. James would modify the Fumina with the Ningyo's remains, upgrading the suit into the EJ-003 Fumina "Star-lighter".
