Comics

Jaw Bone and his teammates were approached by Cy-Kill of the Renegades, who attempted to convince them that his cause was noble in an effort to enlist their help against the Guardians. After hearing the reactions of his teammates Rib Cage, Tail Bone, and Hip Bone, Jaw Bone asked for time to meditate on his decision, prompting Cy-Kill to launch an attack. Though initially forced back, the Fossil Lords formed their combined form and proved a mighty foe to the Renegades; however, Cy-Kill managed to have Spoons abduct Ulna, Jaw Bone's daughter. Unable to fight back lest she come to harm, Jaw Bone and his teammates were forced to bow to Cy-Kill's wishes, helping them launch an assault against UNECOM headquarters on Earth and easily overcoming Courageous. Fortunately, the Guardians succeeded in freeing Ulna from the Renegades, and Jaw Bone and his teammates helped turn the tide before returning home to Quartex.
