Fossil Saurus appeared in the 1987 Tonka Where Innovation is Child's Play catalog in an alternate color scheme.

Gattai Saurer (aka Fossil Saurus) in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos

Fossil Saurus appeared in "Fossil Fallout," in which he was forced to fight alongside the Renegades after they abducted Ulna, daughter of Jaw Bone. Fossil Saurus easily defeated Courageous, but was then able to take revenge on the Renegades after Leader-1 rescued Ulna.

Fossil Saurus also appeared in "Combiner Wars", an installment on the Renegade Rhetoric Facebook page by Fun Publications. Jaw Bone and the other Fossil Lords formed him in order to aid Courageous against Monsterous, but were overwhelmed after Puzzler and Nemesis joined the battle.
