History

Dion only appeared in the episode "War Dawn" of The Transformers, where he is depicted as the best friend of Orion Pax and Ariel and a fellow admirer of the power of the Decepticons. After encountering the timelost Aerialbots, Dion and his friends learned the true evil of Megatron and were grievously wounded by him. Dion was never seen again, but Orion and Ariel's subsequent reconstructions into Optimus Prime and Elita One by Alpha Trion have led to speculation of Dion's rebirth as an Autobot, with Ultra Magnus being a favorite candidate for his new identity.
