Coreena Brown Personal Life

Coreena from Seattle/USA is a singer, songwriter and producer. She completed her education at the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston and began her career as a contract artist with the independent label cgmusic, and indie label with Virgin Records. She appeared as a background singer for Diana Ross, Boney M and Marius Müller-Westernhagen. Coreena is excited to portray Diana Ross in Sixties GIRLS. She is also an established producer and songwriter who has released five self-produced/written projects with over 50 songs, as well as music for indie films and games.

Early Life And Personal Journey

Coreena is a solo music performer, born and raised in Seattle and now based in Germany. Using voice looping, analog music technology, synths and samples, she creates a collage of dreamy textures, slowly evolving melodies, and stuttered rhythms that call back to the roots of IDM, Trip Hop and Soul while simultaneously tackling new emotional ground. She completed her schooling at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston and began her career as a signed artist with independent label cgmusic with major ties to Virgin Records. She has also performed as a backing vocalist with Diana Ross, Boney M and Marius Müller-Westernhagen to name a few. Coreena is currently playing Patti/Diana Ross in the music revue Sixties GIRLS. She an established producer/songwriter who has released five self-produced/written projects, indie films and gaming with a catalogue of over 50 songs.

With a grandfather (Oscar W. Holden) who sang with Ray Charles and Quincy Jones its no wonder Coreena had aspirations of music. "I've been singing and writing since I was 9. I've always loved singing. I started gigging in 21+ clubs at 16 because I couldn’t wait. I dashed to Boston to attend Berklee College Of Music and refined my musicianship, theory and performance, graduated, then I sprinted to the outskirts of Los Angeles as a musician and lived there until my heart started to feel homesick and I relocated back to my hometown...Seattle. While home I perform, record, and simultaneously teach voice/piano to help others realize their passion for music.
