Early Life
Adrian Thomas-Townsel also known as Ayestí is an American Pop/Hip-Hop Artist and founder/CEO of Hussla LLC.
Ayestí was born in Lima, Ohio but was raised in Colombus, Ohio. His musical influences are very diverse; rapper Lil Wayne and Pop Punk Bands like All Time Low and Panic! At The Disco are just a few of the musical acts he credits for his interest in making music.
Education
Ayestí graduated from Westerville Central High School in 2018. He would graduate with a 4.1 GPA and is currently enrolled at Columbus State Community College pursuing a double major in exercise science and Finance respectively.
Career
Ayesti started his rap career under the name “4G” a play on the initials of his name being A.T.T. He would start his musical career by releasing music on SoundCloud using only an iPhone and GarageBand. Eventually, Ayestí‘s girlfriend would purchase his first interface and studio equipment; this action would be the deciding factor in Ayestí taking his music career serious. Ayestí‘s First project was called “MTMF”, a.k.a. “Message To My Fans; the project failed to reach technical and commercial success which would cause Ayestí to decide to enroll in the online music production course/program “Mixxin Academy” to learn mixing and mastering concepts. After completing this program he would officially change his artist name to Ayestí (A-Yes-T) and would begin to rebrand himself and his music. Ayestí would release “Fiji Truth” in June 2021 and it would be the first song he would release under his new name. “Fiji Truth” would reach #1 on iTunes in South Africa and settle at #14 on the iTunes Charts[1]- ↑ [1]<\ref>. Featured on “Lyrical Lemonade” and Thisis50, ELEVATOR. and other sources like yours. Also featured on Reprezent Radio 107.3 FM and CBN-Radio 90.9 FM. Created Hussla as an all in one consulting/marketing agency for artists to do similar things. Collaborations with popular artists ChrispyD and Jxve, and local artists B!G DOR and Wa-Hid.
