Development
The Giant Acroyear toy was designed by Iwakichi Ogawa and was filed for US patent in 1978.[1]
In 2018 several Giant Acroyear parts were released on Shapeways by Mathew Robert Ignash.
Comics
1979 Marvel Comics
In issue 1 of the Marvel Comics Micronauts series Baron Karza's Death Tank contained Giant Acroyear parts.
The various components of the Giant Acroyear appeared in the Marvel Comics Micronauts series several times. The arm robots appeared as Acroyear pilots of the Battle Cruiser.
Numberois vehicles made from Giant Acroyear parts were among the Acroyear Battle Fleet in issue 9.
2003 Image Comics
Several Giant Acroyears were seen among Baron Karza's fleet in Micronauts Karza number 4 by Image Comics.
