Reception
Comics
Fossil Saurus appeared the Transformers: Renegade Rhetoric episode #27 story "Fossil Fallout," in which he was forced to fight alongside the Renegades after they abducted Ulna, daughter of Jaw Bone. Fossil Saurus easily defeated Courageous, but was then able to take revenge on the Renegades after Leader-1 rescued Ulna.
Fossil Saurus also appeared in "Combiner Wars Part 1", an installment on the Transformers: Renegade Rhetoric Facebook page by Fun Publications. Jaw Bone and the other Fossil Lords formed him in order to aid Courageous against Monsterous, but were overwhelmed after Puzzler and Nemesis joined the battle.
Fossil Saurus was featured in the 2016 Ask Vector Prime story Echoes and Fragments, set during the events of The Transformers: The Movie. The manipulations of the evil Gong and Sideways resulted in various GoBots, Rock Lords and Starriors swapping places with characters during the events of that film.[1]
