Zikria Kandahari is a citizen of Afghanistan who has been accused of collusion with war crimes committed by US special forces.[1] Kandahari worked as a translator for US Army Green Berets, and Afghan witnesses assert his role went beyond translation to active participation during an atrocity incident where innocent Afghan civilians were tortured and murdered.[2] Afghan President had the Green Beret forces removed from the region, and Kandahari was arrested.
