Wonder Man is a fictional character created for Fox Publications.

During a trip to Tibet Fred Carson reporter and inventor meets an old man who gives Carson a magic ring that empowers him with super strength, super speed, super stamina, invulnerability and flight. He uses these powers to fight the forces of evil.

After the success of Superman in Action Comics #1 Fox Publishing wanted to create there own version of the character so they hired Will Eisner to make a superhero that could compete with the man of tomorrow. He created Wonder Man who appeared in Wonder Comics #1 unfortunately for the hero it was his only appearance as National Comics threatened to file a law sued against Fox believing Wonder Man infringed on there character resulting in his cancellation.
