Please do not create duplicate pages
Welcome to WikiAlpha! Please note that you should use redirects (code: #REDIRECT [[Page name]]).

Do not create duplicate pages by copying and pasting. Please create one page per topic, instead of multiple pages for the same topic.

For example, please create only one page for Ali Khan, not two pages for Ali khan and ALI KHAN.

Creating duplicate pages will not help with search engine rankings and creates unnecessary additional workload for WikiAlpha volunteers.

Thank you.

Hello there! I did that because it was a accident in my capitalization, which could cause confusion for people who write more articles. Apologies if it looked like that, but that is not the case. I will take that for consideration, though, in the future. Mightyaighty (talk) 13:46, 24 May 2023 (CST)

Deletion templates

Please do not place deletion templates on pages unless they are libel (defamation). WikiAlpha is not Wikipedia. This encyclopedia is much more inclusive. I had to undo your edits and save the pages. Please do not continue to nominate pages for deletion. WritingSnowman (talk) 18:27, 25 May 2023 (UTC)

  • I am going to endorse WritingSnowman's comments on deletion. Wikialpha has looser inclusion criteria than the Wikipedia - found at Wikialpha:CSD
Contributors are allowed to submit new articles on topics, without references, or with references that do not measure up to the Wikipedia's criteria.
If you see an article you think is questionable, but it does not qualify for one of deletion criteria at Wikialpha:CSD, your choices include:
  1. Politely voice your concerns to the individual(s) who work on that article, on the article's talk page, or on their user talk pages. Maybe they will consider your concerns, and improve the article so you no longer find it questionable.
  2. Carefully try to improve the article. But, if you amend a sentence, or a paragraph, you think is inaccurate, I will expect you to do so neutrally, using references that would be welcome on the Wikipedia. The person who started the article isn't obliged to use references. But I expect you to do so, because we can't have two contributors going back and forth, without references. And, if the person who started the article disagrees with what you thought was an improvement, I am going to expect them to use references, as well.
  3. Politely ask for advice on Wikialpha:Community portal.
  4. Do nothing, let sleeping dogs lie.
Do not resort to vandalism.
You were careless in your placement of your deletion tags, as you erased the first line of the existing {{infobox person}}, thus making the articles not render properly. So, in general, please be careful you don't break stuff. Geo Swan (talk) 05:04, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
  • Okay, I see you restored your {{db}}, even after User:WritingSnowman's warning. It was prior to my own warning. If it had been after my warning I would have blocked you.
Please be more careful... Geo Swan (talk) 17:43, 27 May 2023 (UTC)
