Those contributors donate their intellectual content using a license that releases most but not all of their intellectual property rights. They retain the right to have their work attributed to them. Lawyers for the WMF stated that merely listing their names was sufficient.

Over 250 contributors worked on the Arijiat Singh article. You were supposed to list all of their IDs on Talk:Arijiat Singh
